I had the opportunity to stay in 2 different types of beach villas at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island. I’ve reviewed the King Beach Villa already, which is the standard level room reward you can book using points.
However, I had gotten upgraded to a deluxe beach villa, which honestly took my breath away with how spacious and opulent it was.
Let’s check it out in 15 pictures!

The Deluxe Beach Villa is an exclusive, premium room that even Hilton Honors Diamond members aren’t entitled to because, at this property, guests are not eligible for room upgrades.
So you can imagine the delight on my face when the staff informed me that my request for an upgrade due to a special occasion was granted. We promptly checked out of our previous villa, and our belongings were whisked to our new villa.
Immediately, I noticed the soaring facade, the thatched roof, and the grand entrance. Every deluxe beach villa is a whopping 3,229 square feet in size, which is double the size of the standard King Beach Villa.
Immediately upon entry, there was a large foyer with turquoise gallery glass, an armchair, and a glass table overlooking the private garden. The towering windows let in a constant shower of Maldivian sunshine.
As the first order of business, we checked out the private garden, and it was very clear that the centerpiece was the thatched roof pavilion. It housed a platform bed and was comfortable enough to lounge around all day. There was also a hanging egg chair beside it.
There are 2 rain showers in the deluxe beach villa, and one of them was outdoors. The hair and body products were Molton Brown-branded.
As we finished exploring the spacious private garden, we stepped inside the confines of the room to feast our eyes on one of the most comfortable king beds we’ve ever slept in. At the foot of the bed were a loveseat and a coffee table. Just behind the bed was a beautiful glass panel with tree patterns.
In one niche of the room, we found the mini bar, which was fully stocked with soft drinks, beer, spirits, wine, complimentary bottled water, and an ice bucket.
There was also a high-quality Nespresso machine plus exceptional tea from Dilmah.
Next to the minibar was a makeup room with a pouf, several mirrors, and lamps to illuminate the area.
Opposite the makeup room, you’ll find a large walk-in closet containing numerous hangers, insect repellent, a safe, 2 beach towels, a shoehorn, a shoe brush, slippers, bathrobes, and a luggage rack.
Making our way into the bathroom, we were met with beautiful turquoise glass designs, emphasizing the oceanside vibes of the tropical paradise.
In here, you’d find a separate toilet room (with a bidet) and an indoor walk-in rain shower.
There were double vanities with vessel sinks, large mirrors, a makeup mirror, and plenty of toiletries.
The living area consisted of an armchair and a small flatscreen TV.
At the back of the villa, you’ll find 2 sunloungers, 2 armchairs, and 2 tables.
But the highlight is the full-length, jetted plunge pool. Unlike the standard beach villa, the deluxe beach villa offers a private pool that’ll make relaxing just a few paces away.
This area is also the private walkway to access the beach directly from your villa!
The Deluxe Beach Villa at the Conrad Maldives offers an astonishing 3,229 square feet of space, a private garden, a thatched roof lounging pavilion, a private plunge pool, 2 walk-in showers (one outdoors), and direct beach access. Most notably the Deluxe Beach Villa, as compared to the standard King Beach Villa, is double the size, has its own plunge pool, and has 2 showers.
