Named after a famous Norwegian skier, Stein Eriksen Lodge Deer Valley is a ski-in/ski-out resort reminiscent of a cozy European lodge with all the sophistication of a 5-star retreat.

Location

This 10-acre luxury ski resort is located at 8,200 feet mid-mountain at Deer Valley Resort’s Silver Lake Village in Park City, Utah. It’s also mere minutes away from the Historic Main Street of the glorious mountain town. Shuttle services are provided by the hotel while a free transit system is available for those who want to explore Park City

Getting to the resort requires a 40-minute drive from Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC). Guests can coordinate with the concierge team to arrange transfers via their preferred vendor, Snow Country. Otherwise, there are different options to get to and from the airport, such as Uber, Lyft, taxi, shared van, or private car services.

Glitretind Restaurant serves exquisite seasonal fare created by Zane Holmquist, the VP of Food and Beverage Operations and Corporate Chef. 

For a memorable outdoor dining experience, make a 90-minute reservation for up to 6 at the Stein Alpenglobes. Located at the top of the Mountain Lodge, these fully enclosed clear domes allow you to enjoy the panoramic views of Deer Valley.

Troll Hallen Lounge is a full-service bar that serves light après and lunch fare. It’s also an ideal place to take in the picturesque surroundings of the mountains.

For a quick pick-me-up, head to the First Tracks Kaffe for hot and cold beverages and pastries.

Montage Deer Valley is a cozy yet refined alpine resort with ski-in/ski-out access to Deer Valley Resort. 

Location

The resort is about 36 miles (or a 40-minute drive) from Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC). Visiting guests can arrange airport transfers with the resort through their preferred vendor.

Montage Deer Valley is only less than five minutes from Park City’s famed Main Street, where a string of restaurants, shops, and arts and culture await. A complimentary Montage Deer Valley house car or shuttle is available for all guests to travel back and forth.

Guests will also get a complimentary Ride and Drive experience in a Cadillac to explore Park City and the surrounding mountain range.

Room

Montage Deer Valley has several room categories, suites, and residences designed to cater to any taste. Each accommodation type offers all the comforts of a modern alpine home with estate-quality furnishings that add to its sophistication.

The standard room is the 600-square-feet Resort or Vista View King or Double Queen Room located at the lower levels of the resort. Most come with a private balcony or patio and sweeping views of the grounds and mountainside.

Each room is furnished with commissioned artwork, a sitting area, a gas fireplace, and one rollaway bed. Choose from a single king or two queen-size beds. The five-fixture stone bathroom has a deep soaking tub, a separate shower, double wash basins, and heated floors.

The suites start at 1,000 up to 3,200 square feet with enhanced views and spacious living areas.

For example, the Alpine Suite has two living areas, a kitchen, and a walk-in closet. The Empire Suite has an open concept entertainment kitchen with large windows, while the Presidential Suite has vaulted ceilings and a private office. For larger parties, there are two-bedroom suites with an additional room.

The most premium accommodation is the private residences. These exclusive private homes have the best views of the mountains and valleys with spacious living areas.

Apex is a relaxed yet refined all-day steakhouse in a cabin-inspired dining space. Gastropub Daly’s Pub and Rec serves comfort fare with local microbrews, specialty sodas, and other alcoholic drinks.
